Concrete Supply of Topeka, Builders Choice Concrete, and Builders Choice Aggregates all have a safety program that is managed by the companies’ full time safety manager to create a culture that eliminates workplace accidents and injuries, to comply with federal, state, MSHA, OSHA rules and regulations, and to inform and train employees of potential hazards and safety rules and regulations. We want our employees to work in a safe work environment and go home safe every night and be with their families.
The following are examples of steps taken to create a safe work environment:

Pre-employment background checks of all new employees

Pre-employment and quarterly random drug and alcohol testing
for all DOT drivers -
Extensive new driver orientation and driver training program

Regular review of employee and applicant driving records

Pre-trip inspections of trucks completed daily by all drivers
